10kthrownaway.com
I started this website back in October of 2007 as a way to track the progress of the equity and futures trading that my brother and I were doing, and as a way to communicate with other traders in the blogosphere. I kept the site updated on a daily basis for right at eight months at which time I had to quit trading to pursue a traditional career. Through this site I met a lot of other traders, made some friends for life and learned a lot about web marketing and link-whoring.

Rileyroadtrip.com
In the summer of 2010, several family members took a two week motorcycle trip. Being the techie that I am, I decided to put up a website about it. My goal for this website is threefold. First, I built this site as a way to stay in touch and share our trip with friends and family in real-time with the use of several different technologies. Secondly, I wanted to have a way to document the trip for myself and the rest of the group. Lastly, I am working on RileyRoadTrip.com as an experiment in integrating different communication technologies.

Photoblog
I bought my first digital camera in May of 2005 and by November of the same year I started a "photo a day" project and put up a Blogger site to share my images with the world. Although I fell short of putting up an image every day for a year, I learned a lot about photography and photoblogging. The site has went through many changes, and although I haven't consistently uploaded images in quite a while, I am very rpoud of what I have built here and will keep it going as long as I live.
